I arrived home the other evening and caught the last half an hour of a crafting show on QVC and the lady was demoing some stencils from Imagination Crafts, which I already had in my stash (like you do), but sometimes you just need that inspiration to do something different? Well here it is, an 8 x 8 cream card. I used my versamark ink pad to ink up the stencil, run it through the grand calibur and then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder (make mental note to get some more soon). I stamped the greeting and embossed that in gold and mounted both onto gold mirror card, added a ribbon and here it is!
One thing I have to add is, us crafters look at all different ways to use the things we have around us, but has anyone ever used the packaging from their new potatoes - I have - it's the netting behind the bow!!! There's no hope for me is there ????
wow!! this stunning. I love the design and the colours are fabulous

No hunni, there is no hope for you! Hehe.....and none for me, i have used tangerine netting as a fishing net, inked up with Distress Ink, lol....love this, elegant looking and not too much, ideal as a wedding card, i love the fact that we can use our stencils/masks in this way, i saw Ali doing it on C&C months ago and thought, wow, love what you've done here Trud xxx Hugs Vick
