Why is it that when you have the time to sit and craft you're mojo goes and you sit at your desk and nothing inspires you? Well that was me this morning and then I remembered a challenge on Sheila's blog My Craft Creations which was to make a card using a sketch. Something I had seen but never tried. I then remembered a stamp that I bought last weekend, which I couldn't live without (that's why it's been in the bag ever since lol), part of a Goody Bag so I stamped it on to a spellbinders die and edged it with DI, coloured the central pocket watch with gold gel pens and then diamond glazed it to give it more dimension. Mounted this on to some green glitter paper that came in the Goody Bag. I also used the gel pen on the stripes on the rectangle and wrapped some metallic thread around it. Voila here it is.
So wish me luck as I'm gonna put into the challenge and see what happens. Wish me luck x

ReplyDeleteA fabulous card, the papers are gorgeous. I have the same goody bag! lol x
ReplyDeleteReally only wanted the stamp, but it wasn't available on it's own, but have no regrets buying the bag now as it has proved to be quite useful and green is not a colour I would normally use x
ReplyDeleteI love how you've done the main pocket watch. It's fantastic and stands out well on the card.
