Time flies when you're enjoying yourself!

Well it seems to when you're crafting.  Can't believe that the last time I blogged was back in March, when I shared the notelets I made for my sisters' birthday.  Well yesterday she celebrated her golden wedding anniversary- 50 years being married to the same person - Wow!  How many of us can say that - I won't.

So, as I've mentioned her anniversary, here's the card I made for them.

I actually used a Spellbinders corner die that I've had for absolutely ages and only used once I think.  It was from the Imperial Gold range - Gold Elements One (I did say I'd had it for ages!!!)  I've used the Sue Wilson double pierced squares for the frame and another one from Sue Wilsons' New York Collection - Times Square.  I hesitated about buying this at Alley Pally last year, but I am glad I did buy it, as it has been quite useful recently.
The roses are made from the Signature Collection by Sara Davies.  They are brushed with a glitter sparkle pen, as well as a little gold coloured Sprinkle, shame it doesn't show very well on the photo.
And finally the numbers were cut from a Tonic die - believe it to be an advent one, comes with a little drawer front die too.

I also made a box for it to go in and for this I used the same dies but just reversed the colour.
