Luscious in Lilac

Here's stamp number two from Papercraft Inspirations. I just think she is so lovely. (I worry about myself sometimes???). I used the Lucy Cromwell turquoise backing paper and spellbinders dies for the flower and flourishes coloured by distress inks and Promarkers.
Thank you for taking a look and I hope you will leave a comment agreeing with me that you like it too :D

Pretty in Pink

Here's an 8x8 card I've made tonight using a stamp that came with the papercraft inspirations magazine. Such a lovely image and so therapeutic to colour in (there were two stamps and you will shortly be seeing the other one, which is just as stunning). Using the Lucy Cromwell backing paper which is lush and I should have resisted today, but seemed wrong coming out of a craft shop with not much else lol!!!! And of course the spellbinders dies, I think altogether it makes a very pretty card, even if I say so myself x
I'm entering this one into the Alsorts Challenge 'any die will do'

Sunshine & Flowers

I arrived home the other evening and caught the last half an hour of a crafting show on QVC and the lady was demoing some stencils from Imagination Crafts, which I already had in my stash (like you do), but sometimes you just need that inspiration to do something different? Well here it is, an 8 x 8 cream card. I used my versamark ink pad to ink up the stencil, run it through the grand calibur and then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder (make mental note to get some more soon). I stamped the greeting and embossed that in gold and mounted both onto gold mirror card, added a ribbon and here it is!
One thing I have to add is, us crafters look at all different ways to use the things we have around us, but has anyone ever used the packaging from their new potatoes - I have - it's the netting behind the bow!!! There's no hope for me is there ????

50's style

Hi there, here's a card I've made to enter into the I love pro markers challenge this time.
The card is made using a Kanban stamp coloured with pro markers (obviously!) hope you like it - leave me a comment to let me know what you do think, thanks x

My Teddy Bear

Welcome to my second blog of the day! Well who wants to be doing housework or gardening on a Sunday when they could be crafting???? But hey ho!
For this card I've used an 8x8 card blank with a scalloped edge, matted it with some paper that I've had for ages, think it was from a Christmas set, used the papers from the same set to die cut the flowers, as well as distressing one with Tim Holtz inks to match the teddy and voila. Hope you like it. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to have a look and leave a comment, all gladly received.
Have just entered this into the Craft Your Days Away Bingo Challenge - wish me luck :)

Relax

Hi People's, wish I could relax, but there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day, week or month sometimes to do the things I want to do - like crafting and more crafting lol. However, here's a card I've made this morning, I wish it was for fathers day, but alas my Dad is no longer with us (not there's a day that doesn't go by where he isn't in my thoughts!!!), anyway, this is for someone I work with so I hope he likes it! Leave me a comment to let me know what you think. See you soon x

The taste of summer!

Well maybe not this year! But here are two cards I've made to enter into two blog challenges - Allsorts Challenge is 'ice cream colours' and I love Promarkers are holding a 'card for a little girl'.
The first card is an 8x8 using a lili o valley stamp and my new flower die I bought at a garden show on Sunday (what else would you buy at a garden show?)
The second card is a small square card, using my nestabilities and a new butterfly die. Obviously both are coloured in using my Promarkers ;)
Hope you like them and leave me your thoughts, thanks x

Three of a kind

I've done it, not only have I uploaded three days running - but tonight I give you, not one, not two but THREE cards. I know there are all basically the same, but I was inspired by another blogger to use these stamps I'd bought at Ally Pally and never used them (sounds familiar doesn't it???). Well I hope you like them, and I look forward to receiving your comments. Thank you my dears x

Mr & Mrs

Why is it that a card never ends up like the initial idea you had in your head? This was one of them, started off very muted colours and very simple, but ended up with ribbons and gems!!!! Never mind hope you like it. Leave me a comment on whether in your opinion it needed less or more bling - would be interested in your views. Thanks x

Now for something different!!!!

Here's a couple of cards I've made. I find easel cards so easy to do and they are quite eye catching when you're doing craft fairs. Basically, these ones are C5 size, same design, just different colour scheme.

Something Blue?

Here's a card I made this morning for a wedding. Using an 8 x 8 card and my trusty spellbinders voila! If only it was that simple??? But I'm pleased with the end result hope you like it too. Please feel free to leave me your comments.
Do you feel I'm stuck in a rut where my card making is concerned???

Just a quick card today (if there is such a thing in my world!!!) to share with you, as we're on our way to a barbecue (wellies may be required me thinks :( !!!!). But hope everyone is enjoying this jubilee weekend.
The card is 8x8 and once again using my grand nest abilities to do the 'nested circles' Let me know what you think of it?
